Holiday candle gift-set planner
A generous offer still needs to add up. Compare a bundle’s costs, discount and contribution—then check how many candles you’ll need.
Save it. Take it to the workbench.
Download a CSV of your inputs and results, or print a clear summary. Downloads work without an account.
Up to 12 plans across all tools. Stored in this browser, without cloud sync. Clearing site data removes them; anyone using this browser profile may see them. CSV files stay wherever you save them.
Before you put the offer live.
Build the regular price from your costs, then try the actual discount you want to offer. A bundle can have a positive contribution while still missing your target margin. The planner keeps those two questions separate.
Count finished stock once
Two candles in each of 50 gift sets need 100 candles. If 80 are ready and uncommitted, you can assemble 40 sets from that stock and need 20 more candles for your full plan. This does not check boxes, wicks or raw wax inventory.
Keep order fees in proportion
The fixed fee here is per set. If a payment fee is charged once per order containing multiple sets, allocate it first. Adding a gift box should not count a candle’s existing packaging twice.
A worked Christmas offer
Two $6 candles, $2 gift packaging and $1 assembly cost $15 per set. A $30 list price with 10% off becomes $27. With a 3% fee and $0.30 fixed fee, contribution is $10.89 (40.33%). Fifty sold sets give $544.50 contribution under these assumptions.
