KEEP YOUR PLAN HANDY

Save it. Take it to the workbench.

Download a CSV of your inputs and results, or print a clear summary. Downloads work without an account.

Saved only after you click Save on this device. Use a non-sensitive name.

Up to 12 plans across all tools. Stored in this browser, without cloud sync. Clearing site data removes them; anyone using this browser profile may see them. CSV files stay wherever you save them.

Fragrance load calculator: choose the percentage basis

This candle wax calculator also calculates fragrance oil by weight. Enter the finished blend fill weight and select whether the fragrance percentage is based on wax or finished blend. For 1 kg wax-only examples, see the fragrance load guide.

How much wax do I need?

Start with the finished blend weight per candle. Multiply it by the candle count, then apply any production allowance. We split that total into wax and fragrance using your selected percentage basis.

Weight, not jar volume

A 200 ml jar does not automatically hold 200 g of candle blend. Measure your target fill weight for the vessel and design you use. Ounces here mean weight, never fluid ounces.

A soy wax candle calculator, too

The mass calculation works for soy and other waxes when you supply the correct fill weight and permitted fragrance load. It does not infer a safe load or a wick size from the wax name.
